About me
Hi! I’m Cindy—also known as Stoop Girl—and I’m so glad you’re here.
This blog is my little corner of the internet where I share my favorite things, thoughts, and ideas. It’s also a creative outlet for me—a space that’s just mine alongside the beautiful, busy life of being a mom.
The name Stoop Girl comes from a childhood memory watching Hey Arnold!. If you remember the episode about Stoop Kid, you probably remember the chant: “Stoop Kid never leaves his stoop!” For some reason, that line stuck with me all these years. Now as an adult, I get it. While I don’t actually have a stoop, I definitely understand the feeling of not wanting to leave the comfort of home. I’m a true homebody at heart.
I was born in Toronto, Canada, and moved to San Francisco when I was two—so I proudly consider myself a true SF native. I only left the city for school, earning my B.S. in Pharmacology from UCSB and later my PharmD from the University of the Pacific. I’ve since returned home and have been working as a pharmacist here.
To be honest, over time I’ve felt my passion for the field fade, especially with the realities and politics of healthcare. Lately, I’ve been reflecting on what I truly want—and I know I’m ready for a new chapter.
That shift became even clearer after becoming a mom. I have a beautiful toddler daughter and a baby boy who have completely changed my world. Motherhood has become my biggest priority and my greatest joy. It’s also what’s inspired me to dream bigger—to build a life that gives me more freedom, more presence, and more time with my family.
This blog is part of that journey.
Whether I’m sharing everyday moments, things I love, or figuring life out as I go, I hope you enjoy being here and following along.
With love and gratitude,
Cindy 🙂
